Day 6 & 7: How do You Burn More Fat?
The Computer Butt Challenge continues. I found a great video from Scott that has the six essential keys to boosting your metabolism and actually burning fat.
Here it is – “How do you Burn Fat by Boosting your Metabolism?”:
Your Assignment for this Weekend…
The last time we had a challenge, I rested on the weekends. Honestly, it seems silly now.
I don't want to rest this time. I'm excited to do “something” even if it's just walking the dogs.
I don't need to turn into a slug for 2 days each week. I didn't workout THAT hard. It's not like I'm an Olympic athlete who needs two days to recover after working out 8 hours a day all week. Yes, it seems really silly when I put it that way. GEEZ.
So, I challenge you to do something this weekend – anything. Check in below to let me know what you've done. I will, too. Otherwise, it's too easy to do nothing. But, I can't let you guys down! 🙂
Here's where you can check out Scott & Angie's Workouts:
- Sizzlin' Circuits
- Fat Loss Quickie 10 Minute Home Office Workouts (Excellent!)
- Rock that Body (For a more advanced workout.)
Please post your update today and tomorrow and also let me know what you think of the video.
((hugs)) to all and thank you!
Warmly,
Nicole Dean
PS. If you missed the first few days of this challenge, no worries. Jump in at any time!

October 30, 2010 at 1:56 pmOn my workout off days I like to take a walk with my kids. It’s a little more then a normal walk because I’m pulling them in the wagon. It’s a good calf workout. It’s also a great way to relax and get some fresh air.

October 31, 2010 at 8:45 amWell, I didn’t make it to the gym on Saturday and I won’t make it there today, but I did put in a lot of walking yesterday. Hubs and I did some Christmas shopping, so we hiked across parking lots, through the mall, and through 4 other stores. My feet were so sore by the time we got back home, lol!

October 31, 2010 at 5:17 pmI confess that it’s after 7:00 PM and I haven’t done anything that can be qualified as exercise ~ BUT, the night is not over and I have plenty of time to fix that! I’m finishing up a transcript first, then folding the laundry, and then taking the dogs out for at least two trips around the block, might even convince a kiddo or two to go with me. Not going to be a slug!

November 2, 2010 at 9:28 amOn Saturday, my car broke down – perfect for this challenge! LOL I had to walk to the college for my kids’ band contest. Then plenty of walking around at the college and lugging heavy coolers around!
On Sunday, I had a SNEEZEFEST – super fun, really! NOT! I woke up sneezing at 5am and it carried on till 9pm. Was absolutely nuts. Guess it was like sit ups, because, the next morning my belly was sore! Ha!
