Day 9: Remove the Word “Goal” and Replace it With…
The Computer Butt Challenge continues. Yesterday we talked about goals in this post “Share your Goals“.
From your responses, it appears that our top reasons for doing this challenge are:
- Reducing stress
- Looking sexier
- Feeling better
- Setting a good example for our kids
Today, I'd like to share another video. Scott says we should use a different word than “Goals” when stating our plans to increase our chance of success. You'll learn what the word is that you should use instead and why.
Check in please.
Be sure to check in with the exercise that you did today along with any questions you have for Scott and Angie.
If you missed the first week of this challenge, no worries. Jump in at any time!
((hugs)) to all and thank you!
Warmly,
Nicole Dean

November 2, 2010 at 10:36 amTotally agree!
The word ‘Goal’ seems to have lost almost all its power and passion. In my mind, it is this close [holding up pinchy fingers about a half inch apart] to meaning the same thing as ‘Wish’.

November 2, 2010 at 4:14 pmNicole, you are amazing to me. You set your mind to do something and you do it. That is great and I know you’re going to reach your goal. Can’t wait to see the pictures when it’s over. Keep working hard. It’ll pay off.

November 3, 2010 at 5:44 amThat’s a great mission and one that I’m proud to say that I have achieved every day since consuming a lot of it on Halloween.
Keep up the great work everyone.
I’ve done 2 workouts this week and walked every day. I’m feeling totally awesome and sleeping like a baby.
