Why You Should Care about Mobile.
This is part two of a quick three part series. “Why You Should Care”.
- The first part was “Why you should care about Facebook, as a business owner.”

This one is all about mobile phones, especially the kind of phones that have internet on them.
Why should you care from a business perspective? Here are some stats. (But be sure to scroll down to see my blog stats from Mobile users.)

I decided to check and see how people are reading my blog this month. Here's what I discovered…
Most of my readers read my blog on Firefox and Internet Explorer, but … a little further down the list I saw some other browsers showing up.
Safari is used by laptops and desk top computers, but it is also used on iPhones and iPads, too. While I don't get a lot of my traffic from Safari users, that is 9% of my traffic.
You can also see Android browsers and iPhone browsers are visiting my blog, too, although not nearly enough yet, for my tastes. 🙂
I decided to compare it to last April to see if it has changed much. Here's that screenshot.
You can see that I'm definitely getting more Safari browsers (3% more) than last year, which is interesting. I'm also getting more Android browsers, too.
My Apple Itunes traffic is down this year, but I credit that to the fact that I haven't recorded a new podcast in ages, not to real trends. (oops!)
Well, I hope this has been interesting. 🙂
So share with me. How do YOU use your mobile phone personally? Check emails and click through? Do you place orders on it?
Thanks!
Warmly,
Nicole Dean
