Motivational Monday: Laugh It Up
Have you had a good belly laugh yet today?
It's good for your stress levels, your health, and your business. Amazingly, even a fake laugh has health benefits. π
Here's a Weird Niche combined with a Motivational Monday for ya. A Dr. has formed “Laughing Clubs” to help improve the world – one giggle at a time.
Take 5 minutes to laugh — it'll improve your day.
Don't forget that the other big thing you can do to improve your mood, your health, and your overall productivity is exercise. Take a walk. Go skating. Have a quickie with your significant other. Turn on your favorite 80's tune and dance. Grab a hoola hoop or a jump rope. It doesn't matter what you do — just get a move on.
On that note, I'm off to do my 10 Minute Home Office Workout Quickie for the day. Care to join me? If so, check it out here: 10 Minute Home Office Workout Quickie
Have a beautiful day.
Warmly,
Nicole “not afraid to belly laugh or snort on her podcast” Dean

November 2, 2009 at 5:25 pmGreat suggestions, Nicole! We all need more laughter in our lives – fortunately just about every word uttered by politicians worldwide makes us laugh these days! π

Thanks for commenting!

November 2, 2009 at 7:05 pmThanks for the reminder, Nicole. I do need to laugh more often.
Umm… Should I laugh “with you” or “at you” when you snort on your podcasts? π
Cheers,
Peggy

November 3, 2009 at 11:06 amIt’s really not that much of a surprise. It’s been said for years that laughter is the best medicine and has been shown through studies that negative emotions/thoughts place a lot of stress on the body physically which lowers your immunity system and wrecks other havoc.
Paraphrasing a Twitter quote “I love laughter, except when the milk comes out my nose”

Milk? Nose? Oh goodness gracious – have you been spying on me? π

November 5, 2009 at 7:30 pmHi Nicole, I don’t officially have a website yet but considering one in the future, I wanted to know how I can go about starting an online business, helping parents find the perfect daycare center. I want my site to be set up were a parent can visit my website and enter there zip code or where ever it is that they live and then they are matched to different daycares in their area. I also want to feature information on different topics such as health, stress, etc and I’n not quite sure would it be best to build a website or not.

November 20, 2009 at 1:37 amLate on this, but just in case you haven’t seen this, it’s my very favorite one on laughter. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s four boys, but whenever I’m feeling stressed, I watch it.
