If you haven’t been a part of their life, you might not know their ears don’t stand up right away, or that one does before the other… leaving a ‘floppy ear” appearance; “one ear up and one ear down.”

Champ made my heart go pitty-pat. One of my Mom’s German Shepherds, Duke, had one ear that never straightened. He was a tender soul.

I think our pets are our escorts into Heaven. They will be waiting for us at the Gates, ready and waiting to lead us in. They are truly the only pure Souls on Earth.
