Today I have an excellent guest blog post by my good friend, Jimmy D. Brown.

Just for fun, here's a picture of me and Jimmy from earlier this year. ->

The article is all about why you're not making as much money in your business as you'd like to be.

Heck, I needed this reminder today myself. I'm in a streamlining mode – and Jimmy's words are just what I needed to be reminded of.

3 WAYS TO KICKSTART YOUR BUSINESS
IN 24 HOURS

By Jimmy D. Brown

Want to hear something that is VERY ironic?

The one thing that most internet marketers want the MOST is what they need the LEAST.

Most internet marketers are actively looking for a new marketing tactic or tool.

Their days are spent trying this idea and that idea, giving this new thing a chance and that new thing a chance.

They try a few list-building things. They try a few traffic generation things. They try a few affiliate marketing things. They do the SEO “trick” they heard about on the forum. They write a gazillion ezine articles ‘cuz they heard that works. They move on to videos. Yeah, videos — that’s the answer because it’s new for now.

30 days later, 6 months later, 3 years later … they’re singing a new verse of the same song.

They are actively looking for a new marketing tactic or tool.

In the process they’ve been spending money instead of making it. They’ve been wasting time instead of freeing it up.

What’s the problem? Is it all smoke and mirrors? Is it all one big scam?

The problem is the ironic and sad reality: most internet marketers never see huge success because they constantly pursue things they WANT instead of things they NEED.

We’ll get back to that in just a moment. Hold that thought.

What I’m going to share with you in the remainder of this article will be a paradigm shift for a few who “get it”.

Some will skeptically say, “Jimmy is just trying to sell something.” Some will say, “Ah, what does he know?” Some will say, “I’m sure that’s right, but it’s not as sexy as all this other 3-ring circus stuff the gurus are doing”.

Whatever.

Take it for what it is. I’ve been doing this for ten years. I make a lot of money. I spend a whole lot more time traveling and playing tennis and going on mission trips that I do on my business.

I must know something. It may not be flashy. But it’s like novocaine, folks. Give it enough time and it always works.

Someone out there will read this. And they’ll get that what I’m telling you is legit. For that person, it’s time for a new song.

For the rest of you. Come back in 30 days. Or 6 months. Or 3 years. And read this post. Maybe then it will sink in.

Here are 3 keys to kick-starting your business in the next 24 hours…

1. STREAMLINE.

The first order of business is to bring some order to your business! You’ve got to streamline. And what I mean by that is simply this: do one thing and do it well.

You need to “decide what you want to be when you grow up”. That is, what business model do you want to follow? What is the ONE primary thing you’re going to do to make money?

Are you going to create information products? Be an affiliate marketer? Sell items on eBay? Create and flip websites? Provide a service? Coach?

Resist the temptation to try it all. Resist the temptation to dabble. Dabbling is a horrible, horrible thing for the average internet marketer. Trying a little bit of many things almost certainly will mean you won’t do anything well.

Decide right now what the ONE PRIMARY method of generating cash for your business will be. Don’t proceed until you’ve streamlined your business.

Then…

2. SYSTEMIZE.

Internet marketing is too big in and of itself. Imagine someone saying, “Now go do health” or “get out there and be a traveler” or “start parenting”.

Regardless of what your ONE revenue path is, there will be many parts. You’ve got to systemize your business into manageable chunks. You’ve got to break everything down into a daily, weekly and monthly schedule of action steps.

For me, I keep it very simple. I have three parts to my business…

* Offer creation.
* List marketing.
* Traffic generation.

I create a new offer. I market it to my list. I drive traffic to the offer site.

End of story.

I have a system I use to create a new offer. I have a system I use to write and send mailings. I have a system I use for getting visitors to my site.

It’s the same system I’ve been using since 2000. Novocaine, folks. Always works.

Create a checklist of action steps for ONE kind of offer. Create a checklist of action steps for ONE way to build a monetize a list. Create a checklist of action steps for ONE method of generating website traffic.

Don’t try a bunch of things and do them average or poorly. Find ONE method and do it WELL.

You want to UNcomplicate things. You want a MINIMAL set of action steps. You want to do the very least amount of different things as possible to achieve your goal.

You’ve got to systemize your business into manageable chunks.

Then…

3. STICK.

Perhaps the most devastating thing in the life of the 95% of those who fail is this: they don’t stick to it.

Seriously, that’s what failure is … it’s NOT DOING SOMETHING. It’s quitting. It’s coming up short of the finish line. It’s NOT DOING SOMETHING.

When you narrow things down to ONE way of making money and then create a simple checklist of MINIMAL ACTION STEPS to make money, you absolutely must STICK TO IT.

Don’t quit. Don’t quit. Don’t quit.

Despite me saying this, most reading it will quit anyway.

A “new” offer of the week will come along and they’ll get distracted. Someone well respected in the industry will convince them that the latest trick is the “most important thing you’ll ever do” (Talk about a new verse of the same song!) Things won’t happen instantly, overnight like other people promise.

Listen, you can rationalize the decision to quit in a thousand different ways. You can make excuses for why you should move on and try something else.

Label it whatever you want, but just below the surface you’ll see this word tattoed on your being in permanent ink … failure. If you quit, it’s all the same … it’s NOT DOING SOMETHING.

I know it’s hard to stick to things when there LITERALLY is a new offer in your face every single day. Most people just can’t resist that temptation.

So, do this: find yourself one mentor that you trust and believe and remove yourself from everyone else’s list. Just cut that temptation off at the root.

At the end of the day, I can tell you this. I’m about to celebrate 10 years online. I make more money than ever and work less than ever. I promise you, I know what I’m talking about here.

If you want to do well online, you’ve got to STREAMLINE, SYSTEMIZE and STICK.

You can stop reading right now and apply what I’ve told you so far and you’ll be right on target in six months. Pay attention to what I’m saying. You don’t need what I’m about to offer you. I know that’s contradictory to most people’s sales pitch. I’m supposed to convince you to buy something from me right now. And it’s true that I do have an offer for you. But I’m telling you up front, you can do everything I’ve told you above and be fine on your own. You don’t need my offer.

Now, for those who want some hand-holding and some specifics for all of this, I can help you.

If You Are Just Starting Out Or Currently
Making Less Than $1,000 Per Month…

I can personally (one-on-one) answer your questions, help you create a daily schedule and give you some specific action steps to take each week to build a streamlined, systemized and sticked plan of action.

Together we will choose a thriving market of customers with a strong buying history, select a method for generating cashthat is custom-fit for you, locate an offer to sell to customers that has proven to get orders, eliminate the clutter to identify thefewest and best action steps, and develop a daily schedule to use immediately to stay on track.

You will receive a step-by-step curriculum, daily assignment to
complete for me to “grade”, and a personal Q&A session with me!

Due to the personal interaction with me, there are only 50 spots available. Once they are sold out, they are gone. I can only take 50 students since I’ll be personally interacting with you EVERY DAY for this coaching class.

Regardless of whether we create a plan together or if you do it independently, it’s time for you to sing a new song. Good luck!

Well that's it from the guy who is one of my biggest mentors since I've been online.

You can't go wrong learning from Jimmy, ever. And the opportunity to chat with him directly about your business is priceless.

I hope this post has helped to clarify some things for you. I know it came at a perfect time for me, as I'm planning for next year.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Much love and appreciation.

Hey guys and gals.

Today I have a special blog post from Traffic Expert, Kim Roach. I've been promoting her new course because I feel it's one of the best traffic courses that I've seen. (And, it's a very affordable price.)

In fact, if you're past the beginner stage (at the intermediate level), I really wish you'd buy it. It's that good. (If you're a total newbie, it's probably beyond your level – although you could benefit from several areas of the course like guest blogging, forum marketing, etc.)

If you're interested, I am offering a bonus. Click to see the Traffic Dashboard Bonus that I'm offering.

On to the guest post.

What is Integration Marketing and How Can it Send you Thousands of Targeted Visitors?

by Kim Roach, Traffic Expert
Get her Free Video that Reveals How to Generate 3,000+ Subscribers in Just 30 Days.

Integration Marketing is the fastest way to create an automated lead generation system that funnels hundreds of subscribers into your sales funnel each and every day.

Essentially, integration Marketing is the process of integrating your offer into someone else’s marketing funnel.

This is hands-down one of the most powerful, yet untapped traffic strategies online today.

One of the best ways to use integration marketing is to look for people who have products related to your market. You would then approach them about including your content as a bonus for their product.

For example, if you have a product that you are currently selling, I would allow them to include your product as a free bonus. The only catch is that they have to sign up for your list before they are able to download your product.

This is really a no-brainer (especially if you have a high-quality product) because they are able to provide tremendous value to their customers, offering them an extra bonus that they would normally have to pay for.

In return, you get a very powerful list of buyers!

By pairing your products with other products within your market you are going to create an instant, perpetual flow of leads to your website, allowing you to grow your list very quickly.

Another way you can use this strategy is to look for membership sites within your market. People who own membership sites are constantly looking for quality content that they can add to their site. That’s really one of the biggest jobs for someone who owns a membership site, adding new quality content every month.

So you can provide them with tremendous value by allowing them to put your premium content in their membership site. And in return, you will build a very powerful list of buyers. And as you know, a list of buyers is 10x more powerful than a traditional subscriber.

Another powerful integration strategy you can use is to write a killer report of about 30-40 pages of truly great content. This has to be some truly juicy content. Not the same stuff you see rehashed 100′s of times over. For this strategy to work, you must create content that stands above the crowd.

You would then offer this ebook to other marketers for them to give away to their list (no opt-in required.) The key here is that you MUST include links throughout the report that point back to your squeeze page.

To add even more power to this strategy, I would recommend that you personalize the report for each marketer. At the top I would say something like, “An Exclusive Gift for MARKETERS NAME’s Friends and Subscribers”.

I would send out 50-100 personalized emails offering your report to them for free. You can email bloggers, product owners, and related websites. You can find these people through Clickbank, PayDotCom, and traditional Google Searches.

You can also some extra juice to this strategy by including a revenue component by branding the report with their affiliate link peppered throughout the report.

Some other extremely powerful integration points include thank-you pages, log-out pages, autoresponder follow-ups, exit pops, and banner space.

There is a TON of virtual real estate online that goes untapped. It’s your job to look for these priceless integration points and find ways to integrate your content into other people’s marketing funnels.

The key to making integration marketing work really well is to make sure that you have a high-converting sales process. If you want people to integrate your offer into their marketing/sales funnel, you must know your visitor value. How much (on average) will someone make for each visitor they send to your website?

Now, you can instantly increase your visitor value by creating a full sales process. An example would be a front-end product of a $1 trial that led into a $39 per month membership site, followed by 2 upsells, and a backend follow-up sequence of higher-priced products.

If you have a high visitor value, it’s going to be a 100 times easier to get joint ventures and affiliates on board. It becomes a no-brainer for your affilate because they make more money sending traffic to your offer than they do anyone else’s.

That’s why it’s soooo important to focus on creating ONE sales funnel and then continue testing and tweaking it for maximum conversion.

Unfortunately, most product creators rarely do any testing. And then after the product launch the product dies and they move onto the next product launch.

But if you want to create a real business online with affiliates who are ready and eager to promote for you and integrate your offer on their thank-you page, then you need to focus on ONE sales process and maximizing the visitor value for that ONE sales process.

I, personally, have been using integration marketing for years, and I can vouch for the fact that it works. The key, though, to most of my marketing is spreading my valuable content all over the internet. Integration marketing just happens to be one of the ways that I do that. In fact, you can grab several of my reports and insert your affiliate links into them and add them as bonuses to YOUR products. Here's the link: Brandable Reports.

Let me know what you think of this article. Pick one thing you see above and make a note to try it soon.

Warmly,
Nicole Dean

PS. Be sure to check out Kim's course: Traffic Dashboard. I bought it. I'm going through it myself and learning. I highly and completely recommend it. (And, I do not say that often.)

Good morning all! It's a great day to make money online. (Every day is.)

Before I post the question that I received I wanted to let you know that I have not given up on my podcast. I've been recording like crazy. (Keep sending me your wish list for whose brains you'd like me to pick.) I'm just moving the podcast over here from ShowMomtheMoney.com since it's appealing to a much larger audience than I'd originally thought. So, hang in there just a bit longer and I promise I'll knock your socks off.

ok. For today, I received this question in my inbox in reference to the free Word Press Blog installations at ReliableWebs.com, especially the ones that are preloaded with starter content.

Just a few questions.

I can see how the IM Reviews blog can make you money, by reviewing
affiliate products.
Tell me how can I make money from the PLR Profits blog, is it just
reviewing PLR sites?
Can I add a membership plug in into the blogs for free or paid
membership for guests?

Here's my reply…

The great thing about the free blog installation, especially the fully loaded ones, is that they will become 100% yours from the start. You CAN do anything you'd like with them, as long as you're following the rules of the hosting company (which are the same rules you'll find at any hosting company – nothing illegal, immoral or downright yucky is allowed).

Yes, you can install any plugin that you'd like. Yes, you can add, edit, or delete any of the content you'd wish. Yes, you can sell the site if you'd like to build it up and flip it. It will be 100% yours.

As for the question about the two types of blogs currently available. First of all there are now three, even though the site isn't reflecting that yet. And, just because you choose one of these doesn't mean that you have to stick with that type of site. For instance…

– Internet Marketing Reviews: Choose this installation, but just have reviews be ONE part of your site. You don't need to build your entire site around the reviews portion of the blog.

– PLR Profits: You can earn money by teaching people about PLR, by selling PLR on the site, by reviewing PLR products and services, by offering services of rewriting PLR – or you can just slip the PLR section into ONE part of your blog and use it to build an entire Internet marketing blog with that as one category.

– IMA Blog: The “Internet Marketing Adviser” blog is ready, but I don't think it's on the site yet. (You can still order it if you wish.) This blog contains top quality starter posts that I had my copywriter put together about various parts of Internet Marketing. (She is trained in Frank Kern's Mass Control copywriting, so that's the style of the posts.)

Profit from these blogs just as you would any others. (You'll receive a .pdf file when you purchase that explains several ways to monetize your blog.)

– Sell your Services as a Ghostwriter, Consultant, Coach, Techie, etc.

– Sell Infoproducts of your own.

– Promote Affiliate Products.

– Sell Advertising.

– Build an ezine or newsletter list.

This is my response to the third question in my private conversation with Kelly McCausey.

Click here to read Kelly’s Question and then continue to my answer below.

Hey Kel.

Whew, affiliate marketing has been *very* good to both of us. Got to love those residual affiliate programs, eh? I don't know which ones you're doing well with, but here are some of my favorites –> Best residual affiliate programs (Notice that our MomWebs.com is at the top?)

As for your question, which relates to Lynn Terry’s blog post, I've got to tell you my answer may be kind of boring, but no. I haven't really suffered from Guru Envy. Mostly I just beat myself up for not being further than I am. (Don't we all do that? Even as successful as we are… it comes back to confidence all over again.) I don't know that I envy them in a bad way, but I aspire to their levels and get inspired by them. Is there a difference?

I may not be jealous, BUT I can get a little snippy. There are gurus I just don't like. Yes, there are gurus who I roll my eyes at. And, there are gurus who I think are phonies and/or snakes. (Didn't know I had it in me to be so catty, did you?) lol. But, I think that's true if you look at any selection of people.

You and I have talked about the gurus we each like. I happen to like one that you REALLY don't like. And, you have a few people you like that I'm not crazy about either. lol. That's not because we're jealous. It's because our guts (and experiences) may be telling us different things.

Here's my question for you…

Is there ONE task you just HAVE to outsource or it'll drive you crazy? I'm gonna limit this one, too, because I know you'll say “email and customer service” so it has to be something else.

I am becoming the outsourcing queen. You'll be proud of me. I have cleaning ladies that come twice a month, a neighbor kid who mows my lawn, a book keeper, and now I have a food service where I get all my meals for a week in advance. (I'm almost embarrassed to admit that one, but I'm going to blog about it soon, anyway, so might as well share.) Plus, I have writers and four awesome VAs who keep me looking good. (It's a rough job, but someone's got to do it.)
So, tell me.. what kinds of tasks do you dish out to other people?

Chat with you soon, my friend!

N

(Keep an eye on Kelly’s blog for her reply.)

Good morning!

I mentioned last week, that I am doing some consulting work. I really enjoy it, almost as much as doing one-on-one coaching. It's fun for me to help other people succeed. I love it!

I've been doing this for awhile now, and I noticed a common theme. There's a roadblock for everyone … at some stage in the game.

Now, that roadblock may be figuring out which niche you want to target, deciding what kind of site to launch, or how to get a website up and running, building a list, getting traffic — or maybe just picking up the phone.

So, I'm wondering — what's YOUR roadblock? What's keeping you from getting to where you wanted to be this year? What's stopping you?

I think, if you can pinpoint the ONE thing right now, today, that is stopping you, blocking you, maybe we can move past it (on to the next roadblock).

Please send me your stories. I'd love to help. You can post them below.

I know it's hard to keep things going when the kids are home, and the gorgeous weather is calling. Heck, I head to the pool every chance I get.

However, summer is also the time when you can get ahead of the competition! While they're lazying away the days, you can get things in place to be light years ahead of them by fall.

How do you do this? One big part is planning and scheduling. I know… yuck. I hate it, too.

However, if you know you'll only have an hour each day to work your business, then think of the ONE thing you can do that will impact your bottom line.

If you're in Direct Sales that means PICKING UP THE PHONE. That's the best way to get those events booked and get your schedule rockin'.

If you're in Internet Marketing like me, then you may need to do some rotating.
Write and Submit Articles
Post to your Blogs
Add content to your websites
Add content to your autoresponders

Got an online store?
Do a little promoting of your site every day. Whether you write and submit articles, write a press release, or promote your affiliate program, get the word out.

Get things in place so your business is building, a little each day.

Yes, we have the flexibility to work our businesses when we want to, but sometimes that can bite us in the butt by allowing us the flexibility to NOT work our businesses as well.

Get going. I'm cheering you on!

Yesterday, we celebrated Mother's Day at a Crawfish Festival. My son and daughter even got to race in the NasCraw Races. They loved it! Neither of their crawfish won first place, but they were laughing so hard that they didn't care!

In this issue:
Time and Organization
Changing your Life, One baby step at a time.

Please forward this to a friend!
Nicole Dean, owner

Time & Organization
As you know my goal right now is to tackle the chaos that is my life. My lack of organization and lack of time management are out of control.

But, I've got to tell you that I am so psyched! Kristine Miller of An Organized Life generously provided her $29.95 teleseminar free to all MomsMasterminds members this month. It was awesome! I need to listen to it a few more times to absorb everything. From planning to setting goals to clutter — it was all covered, including worksheets. Be sure to check out Kristine's site An Organized Life and definitely sign up for her free newsletter on the main page while you're there.

And, of course, if your online business needs a huge boost, join MomsMasterminds — and you'll get the $29.95 teleseminar free (as well as a home business tax course, press release course, search engine optimization course and more)!!

Changing your life, one baby step at at time – by Louann Cormier
We all know running a business, homes, families and more are a challenge and a balancing act. No one got good at this overnight. It is all about baby steps! I challenge you to find one thing that you do (or don't do) and change it this month. For example, do you have a habit of…

…getting the mail and leaving it in a pile by the front door…then this month make it a new habit to sort it before you put it down. Throw out the junk, put the bills in their place, put the magazines in the magazine bin.

…running around each night trying to figure out what is for dinner?…then make it a new habit to plan your meals each week.

…leaving dishes in the sink…then make it a new habit to wash them or put them in the dishwasher right away.

The same thing applies to your business. Do you have a habit of
……writing your ideas/phone numbers/contact info/orders on scrap pieces of paper?…then make it a new habit of putting them all in a notebook
….throwing receipts into a pile to deal with later?…then make it a new habit of filing them each day.

Whatever the bad habits are, you CAN CHANGE! Just don't try to tackle EVERYTHING! Just pick ONE habit that you want to change and do it everyday for the next 30 days. I promise you that next month, it will become routine! Then next month pick a new habit to adapt. It's all about BABY STEPS.
