Honestly, I try to keep an open mind in all things, but, I was disappointed to see some of the Marketers who I really respected promote this for two reasons.

1. It was put on by the Rich Jerk (so I can't imagine it would be classy).
2. It's the Playboy Mansion. (need I go on?)

Yes, the funds are for charity, but I could do any number of disgusting things (and illegal things) and give the money to charity. (Not really a justification in my opinion since I could rob a bank and give the money to charity.) Isn't it promoting the “boys club” in internet marketing even more?

The one marketer who promoted this event that really hurt was John Reese. I not only am a huge fan of his as a marketer, but I liked him as a person, too, and looked to him for guidance. Thankfully, he has since sent an apology email to his list. Yes, he's still attending, but, his public comments about the event were very much appreciated.

So, were any other women out there disappointed or disgusted by this promo? Did you immediately unsubscribe from their lists or just roll with it as no big deal?

I'm curious to see if anyone else felt punched in the stomach by a Mentor that they looked up to when reading these emails.

PS. And, no I don't give a darn whether the event is held or not. The Rich Jerk can do what he pleases since he'll never see a cent of my money. My only point is that I hate to see people that I respect promoting this to me — and to my friends who I've told to sign up for their lists!
