If you took my www.OutsourceWeekly.com course, you know that I much prefer automation to delegation. Why pay a person to do a task that can be done by a computer, right?

Well, one of the things on my “I really dislike doing this and I dislike outsourcing it too” list is scheduling appointments to talk with…

1. my coaching clients (I, however, LOVE talking to my coaching clients once the appt is made),

2. setting time to meet weekly with my staff members, and

3. connecting with people for interviews (in fact, a lot of them get dropped because of the scheduling factor).

What I've been looking for is a program that will do that for me, easily.

Here's what I found. www.Tungle.com. Well, actually Tishia Lee suggested it to me. (Thanks Tish!)

So far, so good. Before I totally dive in with it, though, I wanted to see if anyone has found a better solution?

Well, the feedback so far has been that Tungle rocks. Paul Evans also uses it, which is endorsement enough for me. Plus, it's free.

I've been noticing some extremely clever businesses lately and I decided to spotlight them, on occasion, and try to pick apart what is making them successful while others close up shop in their first year of business.

The example today is Sport Clips.

The hair franchise “Sport Clips” opened here in Pensacola recently. They only take male customers. You might think “Well, then they're cutting out 50% of their possible clientele. True. But, they have targeted their store to appeal towards men (specifically men who like sports), so, rather than trying to “kind of” get it right with 100% of people, they're knocking it out of the park (pun intended) for male sports fans.

Let's apply this to your online business.

Have you really (*really*) figured out who your target customer is yet? It may change over the years. Mine has. But, it's essential that you know who you're talking to.

• If you're a VA (Virtual Assistant) or Ghostwriter – who is your ideal client? Authors, Speakers, Chiropractors, SEO Experts…
• If you've created a book or ebook – is it “Cooking for Everyone” or “Gluten Free Cooking for Moms That Even Your Kids Will Love”?
• If you've started a coaching business – is your program “Lose Weight in 30 Days” or “Pregnant Moms – Lose Weight 30 Days Postpartum”?

• Who is the person?
• How old is he/she?
• What does he/she value most?
• What are their problems, concerns — what keeps them up at night?

These are all things to consider when creating products, services, putting together a coaching program, starting a podcast or blog, or writing a book.

Who is your best customer? And, how can you BEST help that person to succeed with whatever it is you specialize in?

Let me back up a bit to explain.

You may know that I recently retired as an Affiliate Manager. The reason I made that decision was so that I could focus on teaching and coaching marketers to succeed – which is where my greatest “fun” is.

But – I also knew I had to focus. “Niche it down” a bit.

Just like everyone else, there are things that I'm REALLY good at and things that I'm just good at. (And other things that I have NO business coaching.)

So, I decided to focus on infoproduct sellers. That makes sense, right? After four years of experience as an Affiliate Manager and Director of Marketing for infoproduct businesses, I brainstorm ways to make more money for infoproduct sellers in my sleep.

Anyway, I'm headed off on a tangent. Let's reel me back in.

I was thrilled to discover your success cast. It's very educational and inspiring. I just listened to the Susanne Myers Interview, and she had so much great content and advice! I like hearing what Internet marketing “gurus” have to say, but I always take their advice with a grain of salt – after all, it sometimes seems that the only people making money online are those telling others how to make money online! But her story was so true and honest, and she's actually been there in the trenches doing what she turns around and suggests to the listeners. Wow!

I listened over and over and took notes about her advice on what she'd do if she had to start over from scratch. Amazing!

I would like to learn more about how to get incoming links on my website, but I haven't found much on that topic.

Can you possibly help steer me in the right direction?

Also, I was interested in knowing if you sponsor any training programs, or if you do coaching. Out of all the Internet marketers, I think I resonate most to what you have to say. I love how much you love your mom, too! It's so sweet. You're a real person, not some used-care salesman.

First of all, I LOVE your blog. I just got sucked in when I clicked through your link. Your writing is very genuine and heartfelt. I love it.

Second, thank you for the kind words. They mean the world to me.

As for your question, my belief is that 80-90% of your efforts during your day should be spent “off” site, rather than “on” your site. Yep. That means time spent actually marketing your products and services Well, that is IF it's a blog that you want to make money. Personal blogs are different, of course. But, the ones that need traffic to support your family – be doing at least one marketing activity per day (that not counting blog commenting or time on Twitter).

My awesome helper said she sent you the link to WebTrafficBasics.com to help you with some basic link building – it's an older course and needs to be updated, but it's still solid, and still free.

As for me, my one-on-one coaching rates are really high – just to try to protect my time a bit, so I really hesitate to send you to the page. I mostly work with infoproduct sellers who have a stream of income that I can help them to boost.

Well, Dorothy may be tough, but I'll tell you an opponent that's much tougher. This opponent along with her ugly sister together kick the butts of more marketers than just about any other. Together, they have crumbled more entrepreneurs than any other opponents.

Perfection and Fear.

Both Perfection and her mean, ugly sister Fear looove to see us struggle.

We can usually wrestle with Fear because we recognize her as hurting us. But Perfection? Well, she's just simply trying to help us to do our best, right? WRONG! She's the sweet one with her phony little voice, always telling us that we can do better.

How many times have you said this about your unfinished projects?

“It's still not good enough. I have to keep working on it.”

Another month goes by and you're still trying to make it perfect. And, another month. And, another year.

Of course, we all know the translation is “I'll never be good enough”, right?

Guess what? It won't be perfect and neither will you, and that's OK! If I've told you once, I'll tell you a million times –

You do NOT have to be perfect to be profitable.

Why do you think I repeat it so much? Because I need to hear it, too!

Honestly, you know me by now and you know I do quite well online. Yet, I could do much much better if I could just get into a brawl in a bar with Perfection and kick her squirrelly butt.

I hope my coaching client doesn't mind, but here's what I wrote to him/her today. (Name is remaining anonymous unless that person chooses otherwise.)  Yes, I get a little snarky in my emails, but that's because this particular coaching client can handle it.

One thing you should know about me is that I forbid perfection. I don't want it to be perfect or I'll make you slop it up, so don't get your head in a bundle trying to get it perfect.

You will NOT disappoint me unless you try to be perfect and it causes your progress to stall. That I won't tolerate. So, get your head out of your butt and get it done.

So, there. Print this off if you need to and tape it to your monitor, stick it on your fridge, sew it into your underwear, or glue it to your rear view mirror in your car. Heck, do all of the above.

Just repeat after me –

You do NOT have to be perfect to be profitable.

What are the takeaways from this?

1. Get some support from people who understand. Honestly, it helps. I'm not going to plug one certain mastermind groups or anything. Just connect with people who get it. 2. Be accountable. If you can't be accountable to yourself, than find someone who will make you get it done.

3. Get a coach if you need someone to kick your butt. Tiger Woods has one. (Obviously he should have had a marriage coach, too.) Michael Jordan had a coach. All the greats have coaches.

4. Don't beat on yourself. It's hard enough to get the confidence to make mistakes and to build a business in the first place. You don't need someone punching you in the face the entire time.

Obviously, this is an emotional post, but I hope that it gives you permission to be imperfect AND be profitable. I'm going to go now before I get teary again.

Actually, that's not so much the case as there are a TON of different ways to make money with affiliate marketing. The hard part is choosing the easy one for you.

Easy Affiliate Marketing: Do This and Repeat Every Week – And Profit!

Private label rights has been a hot topic over the last several years and for a good reason.

When you get private label rights to a product, you can take that product and turn it into your own content or your own product.

Imagine all the time you will save NOT having to create all the content…

As affiliate marketers though sometimes we are overlooked on the private label rights front, so today I wanted to dedicate this post to helping you learn how to use private label rights content to explode your affiliate marketing…

First off…

Affiliate marketing should always start with building a list in your chosen niche. This is key…

Simply setup a squeeze page giving something of great value away for free in exchange for the visitors name and email address. (I use this autoresponder.)

Videos are awesome to use in your marketing because of the conversions that they can produce. Anytime you can get private label rights to videos you need to snatch them up!

Now once you start building a list, you basically have a license to print money.

You simply find a (edited to add: GREAT) product related to your niche and send an email to your list about it. They buy, are happy, and you make money.

It really is that simple…

Now once you have your list, you can also do other things to profit from it.

Stuff like…

Adding bonuses for buying through your links
Review products and sending the reviews to your list
Create products that you own and sell to your list

And so so so much more!

So here's the plan step-by-step…

1. Create a squeeze page that gives something away for free to start building your list

Note: You can use PLR content to create your free offer.

2. Review a product and create a message to send to your list that has a link to the review. You can then load this into your autoresponder and each person who joins your list will automatically get it.
