Why Sell PLR Content?

Hi. As you may know, I own or co-own four PLR sites. They are all profitable.

Therefore, I get asked quite often to teach others how to start a PLR site and sell PLR content for profit.

Why is starting  a PLR business a model that you should consider?

That’s a great question!

1. You’re probably already creating content of some sort. Why not profit MORE from it? You’re already…

  • Creating videos.
  • Recording audios.
  • Taking photos.
  • Making graphics.
  • Writing articles.
  • Drafting blog posts.
  • Writing emails for your autoresponders.
  • Writing forum posts.
  • Commenting on blogs.
  • Writing ebooks and reports
  • Making checklists and templates.

All of these things are valuable content that others will pay money to be able to use in their businesses, too!

2. Joint Ventures abound.

If you structure your PLR offer well, you can get joint venture partners fairly easily. No one can offer every kind of PLR, so, if you stand out – you’ll be able to get others to promote you.

3. Bloggers and Online Business Owners are HUNGRY!

How much PLR have you personally bought? People are hungry for content that will make their lives easier.

4. You can start a service helping PLR site owners.

If you understand the business, you’ll find additional ways to profit from this booming industry.

5. If you’re a ghostwriter…

You can get paid over and over again for every article that you write, instead of only earning one time.

No, it’s not “easy” money or get rich quick – but it is a solid business model that may work for you.

Last week, I announced a brand new training program that I created with my good friend Melissa Ingold that will walk you step-by-step through everything you need to know to get your own PLR site set up and selling.

Check it out here: How to Sell PLR Content

In this training program…

* We talk about how to make your site unique so you don’t crash and burn like most other PLR sites.

* We’ll show you how to get all the content you need created for you without working yourself to death

* We talk about the various options you have for setting up your PLR site, including which ones we love and those we’ve come to really despise

* You’ll learn how to market your site and begin making sales

* We share our resources for finding topic ideas for all the content we create

This training includes 5 audios sessions, 4 of them have video, plus transcripts, and tons of bonuses and resources – ALL for under $20!

I was wondering if the intro price is a limited time offer. 🙂

    • Nicole

      Hi Susan.
Yes, it is a limited offer while we’re getting the transcripts all added. It’ll increase tomorrow night.
      Hope that helps!

I was not familiar with the term PLR earlier, but happened to come across the same recently. Don’t you think this creates duplicate content issues when used on web-properties?

Having started a PLR business about 5 months ago, I can attest that it’s a not necessarily a quick success. It takes some testing and tweaking to find what your customers want, what price point they are willing to pay, popular topics, etc. But if you put the effort into it, I think you can see success! The business is steadily growing, and I have found it to be a lot of fun! Plus, as you write about the topics, you are continually learning. That’s always a good thing:-)
