Love the niche, Nik!

Problem? Solution.

Problem? Solution.

It seems so simple, yet the idea can just escape us, yes?

Oh, I have to laugh. Look closely at the package for the tag. "Stylish" lmao! Einstein is stylin'!

Love ya!

Thanks Nicole, this made me giggle. It does bring up a great point. I'm going to link this post to the post I did today, it confirms what I said, that the opportunities online are limitless no matter what your background or experience. If I can do this anyone can.

I wanted to thank you for referring your mother to my blog. I'm honored you entrusted your sweet momma to me, I know how close you two are!

Keep it up, you are an inspiration to all of us! Big hug,

Glad to help! There are other kinds that are plastic rings, but I preferred this solution. And, it's lasted several months on a very active dog so far so I'm a happy camper!

Thanks for commenting.

I agree. All of the good niches aren't taken. In fact, I thought of one today when the Polaris got stuck under our ladder in our pool - AGAIN.

Anyone want to invent something that hooks onto a pool ladder to prevent a Polaris from getting stuck in there and spraying water out of the pool?

Pretty please?

Smartie pants! :) Love it!

I would take off his collar but he gets up at 4 am to pee and if he got out I'd feel awful. Plus, he likes to wrestle taking the collar off and on. And, considering he's 80 lbs - I'd rather just avoid it. lol!

This is great, we have two labs and they run around and swim in our pond like crazy. We have been concerned with the noise of the tags actually bothering their ears. We tried a rubber band around the tags and this worked great, until it came off and our dog got it stuck around her tooth! These dog tag silencers seem like a great idea!

thanks for sharing.

Ahoy Nicole,

Tiki lives on the sailboat with us. He is about 10 pounds with two tags on his collar. Yes the clicking at night is annoying.

One, I take his collar off when I go to bed. Again, he is little, and his collar has one of those plastic squeeze clasps. So it is easy to remove.

Second, on the back tag I stuck one of those round stickum felt pads. The front tag lays against the felt. Cost, a few pennies.

Here is a quick pic I just took.

I love this! Although I have to say that it reminds me of my son. LOL!

Let me explain. He spent 10 years in the Army, (he would have made a career but developed diabetes, so had to be medically discharged) anyway, as you may know they have dog tags that they have to wear constantly. Believe it or not they have dog tag silencers.

They are rubber rings that fit around their dog tags so that, (Dah), their dog tags don't rattle. It just made me chuckle when I saw this niche.

My lab, Charlie, had a very bad case of fleas this spring. Wish I would have had the puppy kind of dog tag silencers. Thankfully, we were able to get them under control and gone before I started looking for a padded room. :)
