One thing I would add is ‘test’. What I mean by that is ‘test’ your outsourcer. Even though they say that can do things, I’ve found sometimes, they can’t or don’t know where to start.

Great information on Video creation information.I totally agree with outsourcing and having someone make a video for you! I tried to learn Sony Vegas and I was like no! not another science project! We have enough to focus on as marketers than learning how to create a video!

Hey Nicole,

How did you know that tired person in the mirror was me. :) I must say there are days that I resemble that picture. Would really like to learn more about outsourcing those videos because I am one of those that is just scared by the thought. Will be something to study. Also, thanks for the interview with Willie. He always has good information to share.

In reply to <a href="https://nicoleonthenet.com/4201/how-to-outsource-video-creation/#comment-126">Bernie Landry</a>.

Hi Bernie,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, of course, the final video should be interesting and entertaining as well as informative, especially if it's meant to draw people in from a site like YouTube.

And, just like an ezine article, I suggest that my readers include a call to action at the end, even as simple as "For more information about _____ go to (URL)".

As you know, if you don't lead your video viewers to the next step, they won't take it. :)

Again, thanks for stopping by.

I like your thoughts on outsourcing parts of the video. Having done video since the late 80's I can honestly say that good video does not derive from a template. It starts with an idea, who your audience is and how to get their attention.

There seems to be a new trend that is being spread over the net with these membership video programs. However, they miss the boat. Creating video ads and putting them up on you tube will have little effect compared to a viral video that is not an ad per say.

I agree that a video with a call to action will work on a website as a call to action video. But where will the traffic come from?

A much better idea is to create a video that gives away useful information first or even a series of videos doing this and put those on the video sharing sites.

No one wants to watch an ad... they want information. Would you write an article on ezinearticles that was an advertisment?

:) Have a great week yourself!
