90 percent of day offsite marketing-wow- didn’t see that coming. Very interesting. I assume that means the blog pages are content laden and not just product sales. So is this like attracting to good content on blog which offers products after good content not just affiliate links. hmmm
I will let you know how it goes.

After reading this makes me know I’m not the only one struggling a bit figuring out how to get traffic through others sites. I too listened to Susanne Myers podcast and interviewed her for my show on software. She brought up some great points, I never even thought about.

Thanks for being up front Nicole, that’s priceless in itself.

Love the 80-90% rule. Producing a product and selling it does not equate to half your time creating the product and half selling it. Driving traffic is so important to any blog, website, fanpage, twitter profile. You can’t just expect people to show up, that’s for sure.

First let me just say “awwww…” that little virtual hug you gave with your comment about Nicole loving her Mom… well, that was so sweet. I have to say, I do love my Nicole an awfully lot, too! She is a sweetheart and it shows in everything she does. 😀

On to business… I, too, am not in the business of making money by telling other people how to make money. It just doesn’t suit me. So, sometimes the whole “getting traffic” thing sounds foreign to me – yes, even when coming from my dear daughter Nicole!

I must say you are right on about Susanne’s suggestions and her real life experiences shining through all the “guru” stuff. Both Nicole and Susanne have that in common. You can ask me about Nicole’s “real life”… she works hard and struggles just like everybody else. And Susanne too is just about the most down-to-earth “guru” you’ll ever meet. 😀

I’m fortunate to have such a helpful and knowledgeable daughter as Nicole to help me (actually kick me in the butt) get traffic to my website. I read Nicole’s “WebTrafficBasics” and it helped.

Anyway, just wanted to put my 2 cents in. BTW… Lain, I LOVE your website. I’ve been scrolling around in there for a few minutes before I wrote this and I will definitely be back to check in. The 5 reoccurring nightmares? You too?

Good luck with your traffic. You’ve picked the right “guru”… but I might be biased. 😀
