Thank you, Kim!

One thing that I found to be a life saver with my kids was using a timer. That way, they could hold it and SEE when I would be all theirs instead of just saying "Not yet" over and over again. Just an idea. :)

Hugs and high fives,

I stopped being a people pleaser years ago. Mostly because I couldn't deal with others issues when I had so many of my own.
Now I have a friend that I wouldn't call a timer sucker, I am helping her learn to stop being the victim. Pretty much she was dealing with someone who was mentally abuser. But the other hand I am holding her hand through text messaging and if I am busy I don't checking. (she is so much stronger than she was before we met, so I will keep on helping her. When you are so used to being told for example, I all upset and its your fault. She is learning its not). Yes I am very proud to be there for her.
But I work from home and unless I close the door my family pops in a lot. I have a son with autism and that makes thing tougher for me to say no, or not listen to him. If you have ever dealt with a child with autism you may not understand that once they get stuck on a topic its hard to change it. I am trying to teach him that he needs to let me be while I am working but it is a learning process for him. My husband understands, unless I need to help with something just leave me be.

I love your blog post and newsletter Nicole! You get me thinking about ways to change how I do things and I can't thank you enough for that!
