Nell Asks - Who’s My Mentor?
in FAQ & Other Stuff & Personal by Administrator on 28 Oct 2007
Hi there :) If you're new to my blog I want to welcome you and invite you to subscribe to my RSS feed. - Nicole Dean
My good friend, Nell Taliercio, asked me on her blog…
Nicole,
Who would you say has been the most influential in your business? Your most valued coach or mentor that has helped you reach the level of success you’re at right now?
Nell
Here’s my reply…
Hey Nell…
Well, I’ll try not to be too transparent here, but, my answers will probably not be too surprising to you.

Kelly McCausey & Jimmy D. Brown.
Kelly has been an amazing friend and mentor to me over the last few years. She’s led by example, reinforcing what I believed — that you can be ethical and giving and have fun while making money online. She is considerate, kind, and generous in so many ways, and I trust her 100% with my ideas, my feelings, my fears, and my concerns. She challenges me and inspires me, and she’s just a wonderful person. I love me my Kelly!
Of course, my other #1 (since I couldn’t choose), is Jimmy. He’s just amazingly brilliant and kind, funny, and honest and ethical, as well. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher (or boss). Plus, he keeps his priorities straight and is a husband and father first — always. I talk him up regularly to you on IM and on my blog, so I won’t gush too much here. You know I think he ROCKS!
There are other marketers who I learn from. Some that I admire for their knowledge. But, for the “whole package” Kelly and Jimmy just have it all. Now, I could go onto tell you others who I feel are just in it for themselves and are completely self-focused… but that’s probably best kept off the blog.

I don’t know if you wanted me to ask you a question back, but I will anyway. I asked Kelly this question because I think it’s an important one to ask.
“Where do you see yourself in a year? 5 years? 10 years?”
Chat with you soon.

You’ve got me curious about the one’s who you don’t have an affection for, now. lol
I should have figured Kell’s and Jimster would be on your list as they are the best of the best.
Thanks for the answer girly!
